Oooh nice Maddy.  Is that first one to hold cupcakes?

Yesterday I ordered a Nespresso machine as a gift for my son (who lives in Adelaide).  I know he really wants one so it will be such a surprise for him to receive it. 

It's not his birthday, it's just because we love him and he's doing well in his new job.  It's nice to spoil your kids sometimes, regardless of how old they are.

Oooooh.  Somewhere in my junk I have a couple of egg racks - from the 1930s that look almost exactly like that cupcake holder.  One is square, one is rectangular. 
I haven't thought about them for ages.  Thanks for posting the photo, now I have a reminder, I will have to dig them out and display them.  They might fit mini cupcakes.

Today DH and I are going out to get a new reverse cycle air conditioner. We looked into ducted but because the house is on several levels it would be super expensive so we will have to make do with a reverse cycle in the rumpus room.

One of my friends who lives in Mexico in a house with no central heat/AC  got the ductless high wall air conditioners  - 1 for the great room/kitchen and smaller ones for each bedroom.

They live near the ocean and don't have to use them all the time and they have a back up generator because their power goes off fairly often.  They have found it's lots cheaper than the central AC they had in their last home because they only turn the bedroom ACs on a bit before bedtime and have them on a timer/thermostat so they shut down after a couple of hours.

it did Megan, folds up and fits in the lid.  30% was off all flasks, travel mugs & plungers.....actually they have lots on sale at the moment.

Maddy I need another food flask as DH decided to undo his the other day to give it a good clean, the inside insulation thingy fell out and smashed into a hundred bits. So no good now
Will have to go to target and see if they have any.

I think that's what we got Andie (we just call it split system over here). We got a an inverter westinghouse. Should be installed later this week. Also bought a new printer.
