More work for you CC.  I know what you mean - mine is always recalculating too when we go into the country using a new freeway.  I can't find my cords to hook it up to the computer to update the maps.

I'm feeling left behind, only two tv's in our house and one is used exclusively or the Xbox, I just don't get time for tv watching anymore.
Don't feel left behind - I only have 1 TV... Lol

They are really handy Maddy.  I have the LeCreuset one (cast iron) which is reverseable.  The under side is smooth for when not wanting the ridges.  :)

Gf I bought mine from Peters as well. Double sided, but so heavy I can hardly lift it. It fits across two burners and is great for grilling a large whole fish.  I can't remember the brand and it does not say on the thing but it was not expensive. I only use it when I can be sure DH will clean the thing.

Very handy  if you do to not have a BBQ as well

Yes, I have a similar one too. It is doubled sided and fits over the long, middle gas burner on my stove. I used it all summer and didn't use my BBQ at all. I clean it with a paste of bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar, using a sponge scourer that I only use on the grill plate. My kids love pesto chicken or salmon cooked on this grill.

Do you need a gas cook top to put these on? I have a ceramic (glass top) stove.

I would not use in on a ceramic top . I would worry about it scratching and it can get really hot. At least on gas it it raised over the trivets.

Julie, does the food you are grilling splatter all over the stove top and backsplash?

Judy, you do still get some splatter.  One thing I hate with gas cooktops is the cleaning of them  :-\

Must admit I haven't used the grill pan for a while, well not since we got the Weber Q bbq, that is so quick and easy to use just outside the kitchen door.  Love using that.  :D
