do you those  round plastic rings to cut the pastry ?

Yes Fundj,  The two plastic rings came with the pie maker machine so they are the right size for the pie pan.
They are not of a particular high quality. I will check around the kitchen to see what else is the same size ....just in case they get lost or something.
my came with one of these. very easy to use. When i can’t find my cutter (BS has taken it) i just cut with a pair of scissors.BS= BAD SON

I wish the one sold in OZ was available in the U.S.  Unfortunately Sunbeam stopped selling them here a decade ago.

Well I got my pie maker yesterday and took the booklet to bed with me - quite a few in there I want to try. Which is your favourite if you've had the Sunbeam for a while anyone?  I have nothing suitable in the freezer at the moment to whip up a leftover filling pie so my first ones will be made from scratch - how easy are those recipes.  I was reading them in TMX language  -can't have him think he is going to be obsolete on pie day.

Dam you Megan, look what you have started, just got a refund on my Microwave and bought a Pie Maker, not in use yet as my daughter is back from Uni and given me the flu.

But love the thread now I am in the loop.

Perhaps we should also use this thread for comments on any of the recipes fundj - seems a few of us have aquired a pie maker since Megan raised the subject.

I'm sure she will when she reads your posting fundj.

Hey look what I just found amongst my recipe books - given to me last year with my birthday presents but, apart from reading it, I haven't done anything yet.  I think that might change now that I have the pie maker  ;)

have you found your pie marker in your addinlen cave
if not l live in australia  and l can go to the shop and buy you one and send it to you
they cost $65 au dollars  not shore about postage l can go to post office to see for you if your interested in one
l dont mind doing this for you its no hassle at all
