They look great BZB.

TVSN have still got their special on at the moment. $399 with free postage and if you pay $2 extra you can pay in three instalments. It took 5 days (including the weekend) to get to me.

No, it's me. I am going to Kambos and Good guys before I do the food shopping. I mentioned it to DH and he sort of looked down his nose a bit. I may surprise him one day, or I may not. I can truly see the use for it. I read the choice article and it said they are expensive to run and it would probably be cheaper to use the oven. However that didn't take into account our hot weather. Ive just been reading Whirlpool (my first visit there, ever) and most seemed to like it.

I had to pop into Big W yesterday and they had something similar but I didn't get a chance to have a look at them. Maybe today.

DH was impressed with our roast veggies in the airfryer last night, crisp and quick for a last minute meal. If you are going to buy I would recommended the biggest size you can get as the basket is quite small. This advice is based on using my machine only twice  ;D

Well I did it.  Rang DD to see if she'd like one but no so I went ahead and ordered just the 1 with the basket as an extra. You do get charged $9.50 postage on the basket even though the airfryer is postage free.  Might as well have it though.

woohoo Judy. Sorry I should have mentioned about the postage on the basket, seemed a bit strange to me but it does come in a seperate package.

BZB, I'm planning on cooking some chicken breast fillets which have been cut into three and then marinated in satay sauce - how long do you think I should cook them for? I think I'll also add some capsicum, carrot and zucchini.

Good on you Judy. Did you get the XL one?  I've been looking this morning and haven't seen anXL. Only the smaller Viva. I am wondering if the small would be ok for us. I am excited for you Judy.
Did you get it at TVSN.? I have never bought from them.

Wonder, I have yet to try chicken breast. I've cooked thigh cut up into bite size pieces though. 180C 10 mins, stirred midway. Then 190C, 2 mins just to get some browning.

Would love to hear how it turns out :)

Thanks BZB. I think I'll try a slightly shorter time and see how it goes, I can always add more if needed. Do you always pre heat?

I'm going to have to go back through all the airfryer recipe pictures posted on the forum and keep a book of all these ideas girls so please give lots of details when you make something that's not in the book  ;D  I've already bought 6 drumsticks and a packet of potato gems to be ready for when it's delivered.
