Made a banana cake this morning, not perfect.  I had a visitor and was unable to give attention required.  Promising though. I cooked at 160 for 30 min usually need an hour in oven. Could have done with 10 more minutes, might try a ring tin next time. Loving how quick to heat up.

I have some leftover pasta bake (it's firm - not saucy). Can I use the AF to reheat it and if so how.

On foil or in dish / temp / time

I haven't used it enough to get a feel for how it works so I'm open to suggestions

It's supposed to be firm.  I'm wondering if I could  put it on a sheet of foil on the basket but I don't know what time or temp I should heat it for.

If I did it it in the oven, it would be wrapped In Foil for 20 mins on 180

Thanks For your help Uni

I don't have a dish but I do have a very small saucepan with a detachable handle that fits do you think that would be ok ?

I'm at our country property and I don't even have a real kitchen ! I''m working off a fold up table and don't have a useable oven, just the AF and a microwave and I don't like using the microwave unless I have no other option as I don't think they are good for you - JMO

will the pasta  bake fit in the pan if it does i would go with that, a layer of baking paper then the foil the paper will help keep it moist

Hope it went well Chrissa.
We did steak tonight. It was cut from a piece of girello so no fat at all on it. We gave it 15 minutes. It should have been about 10-12. It was still juicy and tasty though.

Uni from hereon is to be called our "airfryer guru"

It was perfect, thank you so much for your help.

I lined the saucepan with baking paper and then covered it with foil

Funny thing is, this morning I small a small box sitting amongst the rubble (we are doing a major reno) and I remembered, that was the extra baking dish I got when I bought the AF from TVSN

Silly me 😊😏

LOL Chrissa  ;D

I am more than just a bit envious of you AF owners. I was going to buy one but had just purchased a mini oven and DH suggested that everything done in the AF could be done in the mini oven. I have tried a couple of BZB's recipes and they turned out very well just not as fast. (so DH is right  :-X)

I've got a birthday coming up in April and if I dropped a hint to mum she would be more than happy to buy me one.
