I've been watching for the last week or so. I've tried to stay away but I really want to upgrade from the deep fryer. I love hot chips.

Looking at all the other recipes it looks like a versatile machine. Lucky you aren't selling drugs!!

Tonight baked ,  potato gems, 400g, 8 mins / 200o/ turn and spray/3 mins.  Perfect
Coles fish frozen,  in bread crumbs, 6 in packet.  200o/13 mins,  turned 1/2 way
Lamb cutlets from butcher shop,  flattened and light crumb. 180o/ 8 mins/turned5 mins/200o.
( I sprayed both sides with Rice Bran oil prior to baking) very good.
Garlic bread.  3 1/2 slices.  200o/4 mins.  Crunchy both sides.

Not a dimwit Hally, just sensible!

I really got mine to get me by until my 30+ year old kitchen is updated. .. At the moment I need a new oven (still usable,  but door is ajar and the temp is all over the shop), but don't wantto get one til we go all out for the kitchen!

But I do love it. .. it's just so quick!  And it's a really good friend for TMX....easy to clean...less fat....fun....

Firstly,  Courton.  Brilliant idea.  Had started my own list but this is  very handy.
Hally,  I have a good double oven, St George.  It takes 20 minutes to heat to  200 C.  This AirFryer takes 3 minutes to reach same temp.  This for me is a big plus.  Second one is ,  less oil.  I do shallow fry a lot of things.  From my first experiment tonight, it really does cut down on the oil. It is also very easy to clean.
The main disadvantage would appear ,  for me, the size.  For 4 of us tonight I baked potato gems,  then had to keep them warm in the oven,  while I baked the fish.  There may be a way around this.  When there are the 2 of us,  this will not be a problem.
I see it as complimenting the TMX.  Steamed fish and veggies in Varoma and garlic bread or baked pots in AF.
These are my first impressions.

My miele oven has rappid heat, i heat it once I am ready to use it. I shallow very little & deep fry very very rarely. I dont see how it could be of beneffit to me.

Glad to know :)

I love that I don't have to heat up the whole house when I just want to cook garlic bread or chicken schnitzels for example.
