Great use of the air fryer.

I'm not keen on this air fryer as it encourages people (I don't mean you people as I know everyone here makes their own) to use packet chips, fish and chicken which are already partially cooked in PUFA's, Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids, which are high in Omega 6 and create an imbalance in the ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 FA's in our diet. Not to mention all the other nasties that are in these packaged products.

Okay if you're making your own and using coconut oil, lard or other natural fats.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Thanks for the reminder, MJ. Sometimes it's so hard to find time to make food from scratch though. Even with the TM :(

Have to persevere...

Jam, what temp did you use for the tomatoes? Sounds like a handy tip for the airfryer times thread.

I want to have a go at some kale chips. When i did a toasted sandwich a piece of baby spinach jumped out and became a delicious crunchy chip.  I have found my 5 in 1 frying basket and though i could put it over the top of some prepared kale.
Couldnt find kale at superarket!
Also though scones would be good as they like a hot oven, has anyone tried?

Bedlam,  scones sound like a good idea.  Could do just a couple. Wouldn't want to heat the oven for just 4 or 6 even.  I did 6 mini hot X buns at a time good.  Must find time to post more times .

Made Carrot & Zucchini stuffed mushrooms today. Par cooked a potato in the microwave and added that in with the mushrooms.  Recipe can be doubled quite easily.
