love your kitchen lellyj, really nice and light filled. A walk in pantry like yours would also be a boon.

the best thing to come out of showing what your kitchen looks like, is how many more people have learnt to put photo's up  ;D ;D ;D   10/10 everyone and keep those photo's coming  :D

Thanks everyone! (The pantry isn't really that neat . . . deliberately didn't photograph the bottom shelf!)

This thread certainly did seem to motivate many of us to learn how to post photos, CP!

I am way behind on posting on this topic but have enjoyed the photos etc, so its about time I posted who I am and where I cook.
Forum Name Deeau: real name Daneen, Dee nickname at school cause most of the time Daneen is just too much hassle, au - Australia
The three photos of my kitchen and one ( blurry ) one of the view out the window, I have an plenty of ovens with the microwave convection that I use mainly for cakes, then the gas stove ( the cooktop gets used very little since the TM arrived almost 2 years ago ) and then in the winter I use the Rayburn wood stove....I also have a glass "turbo oven " for those emergency oven situations, though I am yet to actually have an emergency oven situation but am prepared should it happen! I have also recently purchased one of those 5 in 1 multi cookers that I think goes really well with the TM, the pressure cooker part is a whole new experience to learn.
I cook for 2 teenage sons and my husband, my sons seem to think that there is actually no bottom to the cookie jar and cannot seem to understand how it can possibly become empty.
I live on almost 30 acres on the South Coast of NSW, no neighbours in site.
Please consider this an almost  2 year late "introduce yourself"  ;D Hey it could be on the "Shopping " thread too!

Dee, it looks like you've married the new and the old nicely:  best of both worlds, I wouldn't do without my Rayburn  ;)
And never too late for intros!  Nice to meet you  :)

Lovely photos of your beautifully appointed kitchen thanks Dee - it is never too late to add to this thread.  Hopefully as newcomers find it, they will also like to show us their kitchens as well. We never tire of seeing a new kitchen (or an old one for that matter).  In picture 3, is that a computer on the wall?

Yes it is a netbook, last year about mothers day I desperatley wanted a ipad2 for the kitchen ( even though I had a desktop, netbook and android phone ), they were out but impossible to get. My friends that own a PC shop lent me the old ipad for the weekend to try, it was lots of fun but just didn't do what I wanted as well as my netbook ( I am kind of software geeky, using software for recipes, menu planning, shopping lists etc. Evernote for forum recipes till they are tried and tested then they go in my cooking software) My handy husband made me the wall bracket ( that also holds a cookbook when the netbook is elseware ) So for mothers day I got the stainless wall bracket and a wireless mouse, I was happy cause it did what I wanted, husband was happy cause it was alot cheaper that an ipad 2! When I am not using it I have a screen saver that displays my photos so its like a digital photo frame.

I love my kitchen NOW, it has undergone 4 partial renovations in the years we have been in this house, the cupboards, Rayburn and gas stove are all thats origional, cupboard returns have been removed, the overheads used to be too low and the lighting shocking, along with brass handles, cream tiles, pink benchtops and apricot walls and ceilings! all gone. I also have fitted alot of the pantry type cupboards with internal sideout drawers. Funny how my kitchen plans changed alot after purchasing the Thermomix, it changed my cooking methods  and pantry items so much I had to rethink alot of what I had origionally planned to do.

gorgeous trees - looks like you live in a park. I think you DH is very clever to make you that netbook/cookbook stand, and the idea of having photo's on slideshow is great also.

Deeau, I understand the netbook thing. I have an iPad love it but it doesn't do all a computer can. We run a business and my computer is clogged with business stuff tends to have a few "issues". So am requesting a laptop for personal use only for my birthday. Be nice to be able to organize  my photo once and for ever. Can't tell you how man times I have and then had a new computer installed and have to find them again.
Your kitchen is wonderful, lots of bench space and plenty of ovens. Yes TMX changes the way we do use our kitchens.

What a beautiful view and how lovely to have no neighbours in sight.
