I don't play golf - we are situated on the largest dam in the Western Cape called Theewaterskloof and we waterski and sail. The water is just across the fairway. The kitchen/family room is actually 11m x 4.5m behind the fridge and freezer is a laundry and broom cupboard. Having a centre island and an eating counter really gives me plenty of work surface. My husband lives at the house full time - he is retired and I commute from Cape Town every weekend.
I forgot to mention - my forum name is just how my name is pronounced.

On looking closer, I see that you are right - it's not compact at all!  Great size.

Great kitchen and lovely spot Shayla, do you get any stray golf balls through your windows?

Shayla your TMX certainly takes centre-stage  :) and your chair looks like a very snuggly one to do some reading/ watch the clouds.

Mine is the short version of Courtenay and what I'm known as on most of the forums I belong to - the butterfly is something I like and I use it on all forums - that way if Court is taken I am still followable (if that is even a word) for those that might be interested.
Now if I have correctly added photos you should see me from earlier this year - the hair has grown back a bit now though.

Here is a link to some photos from a yates challenge I tried again earlier in the year and finished now - the profiteroles were made in the Thermy.

Welcome Court! What an awesome garden you have. I'm a bit too lazy to have such a great veggie garden.
Lovely to 'see' you Shayla.
Great new additions Judy.
Wow, this thread sure has taken off!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Nice to meet you Courtenay  :)  Thanks for sharring pics of your garden:  lovely photos!  Your squah & zucchinis reminded me i need to plant some seeds again.  I'm not sure why but squash, courgettes & cucumbers don't wan't to come out of the ground this year (not warm enough yet??). Like you I love gardening, and cooking with what we produce is so rewarding.

Lovely to see you Court, love your garden as well.  How I'd love one like that but one that would come with a gardener to tend to it as well.  My father was a great vegie grower but unfortunately I have not followed in his footsteps and only grow a small amount of useful items for the kitchen which don't need much attention.

I'd love to have some chooks, but I don't think my neighbours would. Not only for the eggs but to pet as well. ;)
