Re: Dinner Spinner (Feta Tart and S/S Meatballs)

My Dinner Spinner parcel arrived this week and yesterday we had double recipes of Feta Tart and Sweet and Sour Meatballs featured in a dinner party for twelve.  Have pics to post as soon as someone in the family can help me upload them.  We had the same meatball disintegration issue mentioned already despite having read about it before cooking and pre-baking till fully sealed and brown.  The second time we made them we put the capsicum in underneath the rissoles and that did seem to protect them a bit.  The Vodka Feta Tart was amazingly good.  We served it as an entree and a double recipe was demolished. Very popular with men and women, young and old - delicious, different, attractive and very easy finger food.

We are at our timeshare ATM. Made the tandoori chicken last night, made all the sauce & froze 1/2. Very flavoursome and will look forward to sing the next batch.

Can we pre-order  the new book in that comes out in Jan?

Our internet went down wed, hope to have it up and running before xmas. Have a Sim card in the ipad but it seems touch & go whether it works or not.

Apparently on the itunes store it takes 24 hours for it to show up across all things…so by this time tomorrow all good. Not in ipad mode yet, but we are doing that as well…takes the time that it takes…so EXCITING!
Wasnt planning a French version Frozzie, unless you want to translate!  ;D ;D

I would be happy to translate if you need me to and its something you want to pursue...I will end up translating some of them anyway due to friends probably asking me for the recipes lol...I know alot of my girlfriends get disappointed when they hear of applications coming out and them only being in english...are the ingredients all fairly 'easy to obtain' ingredients??

If you did a hard copy in French also you would be the first non Vorwerk Thermomix cookbook on the market here... ;D

That is an interesting idea Kim, and I will discuss it with my marketing manager…we are flat out trying to keepup with the English demand at the moment, but we have toyed with the idea of translation. It is the ingredients that present the biggest issue, as some things are called different names etc, but by and large I think we could work it out with the excellent help from here! hahaha

Thanks Tenina, if i dont get one, i'll come & hunt you down..just joking.LOL ;D

Looking forward to using it. The dinner spinner a great size to take away.

The only thing with using the tm out of the house, you really need to plan to make sure you have all the ingredients with you, not just dinner spinners any tm recipe.

Made the umami paste before we left so have that in the fridge. Trying the tuscan beef stew tomorrow, but prob with rice as thats what i have here.
