Shocking, back to looking at my apps!! Shoud be cooking not looking at cooking!!

Loving Nigella & the taste one is great, loving her nuggets using crackers instead if breadcrumbs. Think cp will love them in his lunch box :)

Downloaded Jamie months ago,  it was free then, but you pay for extra recipes, which of course I have downloaded loads!!!

I'm afraid he lives here.   BUT he doesn't want any of his relations to come here.

I don't buy clothes that need ironing any more. Those that still do go in the dryer to be ironed!!

Thanks for that site Marina. I just had to laugh at this one:

The Perfect Egg Timer, $1.99

iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android

FIRST, measure your goog - place it on your phone and use your fingers to mark the egg's diameter and height. Next, set your altitude. What? Don't worry, the GPS does it for you. Set the slider on a scale from ''fridge'' to ''room temperature'', then choose ''the perfect egg for me'': liquid, soft or hard. The timer is set to go. More instructions say to put eggs in cold water, bring water to a rapid boil and when the water boils, start the timer. The ''egg spy'' camera shows how the inside of the egg changes as it's cooking. Bingo. Perfect eggs every time. This German-made app is everything it's cracked up to be.

Seriously, is it that hard to boil an egg?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I don't know how I still manage to boil an egg without using an altimeter!  Also, how could anyone possibly have time to measure an egg's diameter and height plus enter all the data. Surely in all that time you could have boiled your egg(s) by then. ??? ??? ???

$1.99 times a lot of  idiots puts a lot of eggs in the developers basket.  I am thinking of developing an app on how to make toast. Any takers?

I'm sure you have a lot more interesting things you could develop for an app Gretchen ;) ;)

Gert, I was thinking you do an app for making toast and I'll do a matching app teaching people how to butter the toast!! We could be onto something!!!
