http://macintoshhowto.com/iphone/how-to-find-the-best-telstra-plan-for-an-iphone.html

I don't know about Vodaphone as it it all but useless up here in Cairns? I don't have an iPHONE but I know others tether successfully with their Telstra accounts.  Other countries will depend on their carriers and their plans .

It's as easy as Plugging your phone into your iPad with your USB port and adjusting  your settings on your iPhone. You can use it with blue tooth as well.

I am sure others here have already done this and can further enlighten us.

Frozzie, i've successfully tethered to a friends iphone, he simply sat it close by my ipad and i went into settings and you should then be able to see a list of wifi connections, the phone ones will have a different symbol beside them. you should just be able to select the correct one and then enter the password when asked. Sorry I can't give more detailed instructions but don't have it with me and can't remember exactly what each screen is called or what they looked like.

Frozzie, I thethered mine by going into settings general, and then blue tooth and turned blue tooth on both machines and connected that way.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I recently purchased the Dinner Spinner app and I am very happy with it.  There is a good selection of recipes. It is easy to use and the shopping list function is great.  I think it will be useful when I call into the shop on the way home from work and I need to pick up soemthing for dinner.

........for those who may need this bit of trivia - it takes the battery of 2 iphones for the drive Townsville to Rockhampton  ;D  ;D - mine was used up by Mackay and so I then went on to DH while mine was charging, would have also used the ipad but for it being in a suitcase.  Reason = angry birds and lovely birds (apologies to those who feel they don't qualify for this category :D  :D) aka forum
