CP i have only made it with pure alcohol and use
400mls of boiling water
200 mls of sugar

If u don’t want it to strong use
 
600mls of water
300mls sugar
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

I know but I haven't had limoncello before and so I want to taste the best before I settle for second best. My kids will find the vodka anyway if I don't stick some vanilla beans in it first  ;) so it won't go to waste

Chemist? Anyway, neighbour has given me a huge bag of lemons. I've now started the limoncello and just popped a couple of trays of sliced lemons into the oven for chookies lemon dust   ;D

I have put them on 50 degrees ATM, and they are not laid out in a single layer  :-)) two trays. Am going out for tea tonight and when I come home will have a look and see how they are going and maybe review if another tray is required, but I'm anticipating them being in the oven all night.
