Well I am going to be over this week if I keep my 2 aussie farmers delivery. Too late to cancel fruit & veg, the other is milk, sausages & sour cream. If I dont count the sausages I will be in budget. Sausages are meat, so maybe I dont have to include them. Buyi g them to replace the acket we are eating tonight.

I think you have to include meat. Maybe Hally is making up the rules as she goes along!! 😄

No I normally buy my meat in bulk spending around $600.

I have included sausages, bacon, chorizios in the past. I still have enough meat in the freezer to last me for 3 weeks then I domy bulk order.

If you read through an earlier post you will read that i did include my sausages & bacon, but I like Obbie buy it in bulk.

No .i am not changing the rules or making them up. Read all posts

I do include meat in my budget but then again 500g of meat can last us for up to 3 meals - I think it's a different story in H's household!

We had sausages for dinner tonight H . DH bought them yesterday and they weren't in my plan, but he got them for a really good price, and they were really tasty and  meaty.
I have got to the end of the first week and have spent a total of $122.20. (including the sausages he bought). I AM UNDER BUDGET!!!
Normally I would do the supermarket on Friday, but I will go late night shopping tomorrow as I have a hair appointment at the shopping centre. It will mean that next week will cover 8 days!

I've been including meat and cleaners in my budget but apart from Sunday's it's just the two of us here.  I have wondered about buying bulk meat but it would last us forever.  My family will eat pretty much all meats but I personally only eat seafood.  Sometimes I buy a whole salmon and that works out quite a lot cheaper.

Well, I'm not going shopping today as it's wet and cold in Melb today.  So my total for the week is $68.00.  Very happy with that.  Will need to sit down and work out the meals for the next week.  It will be a potato inspired week as I picked up a 5kg bag of spuds for $2.00

I've haven't shopped since Sunday and that was $16.45.
That gives me $80.00 to spend at the food and wine fair tomorrow.
