True Suzanne, but it is still an expensive breakfast. Perhaps make it at home next time and take it down as a picnic.

Have been on a shopping crawl. Didn't buy anything for me, but I still had fun.

How scarey re the baby BZB.  :o Glad she is ok now. Just wondering why she (the mum) didn't call the Ambo?  ???  You are a great neighbor to take her in.
Astarra, that's what my DH said many, many times. I don't really know as my neighbour doesn't speak English well. She is from Afghanistan. I could understand the fear and desperation in her eyes though. Will never forget it

Why crawl, Cookie? Thought you'd be skipping along happily 😜

Sounds like fun plans, Suzanne 😄

I'm just wondering BZB, if your neighbour knows and understands how to call the ambulance.  Maybe some instruction/training and practice what to say, even if it's just to say that the baby is very sick and needs an ambulance - address and phone number . . . just a thought . . .so lucky you were there for her! :)

I dawdled so much in the first shops I had to rush to do the couple of things I needed to.

Wow, DJ! How many people suffered the seizure? They must be so so thankful to you.

Thx BZB it was only one person but I was deliberately not giving their gender.
I was just so thankful they were ok after.

You ladies...  :-[
Nope, I only surface 1/2 hr before my girls - I just use as many automatics as I can so things are freshly washed when I wake up (think washing machine and dishwasher here), just don't function in a mess so need to keep on top. I do stay up for about 45min after them tho, to get everything tidied ready for the next day....
In saying that tho, DH and the girls are first and foremost in my life.  :-* so if need be, cleaning has to wait!
This afternoon, just more cooking and cleaning - thorough clean of the laundry (my pet room to clean as it is where DH comes in every night & I think of it as his "welcome home".)  :-))
Also played games which I downloaded, printed and laminated from picklebums.com website, suit the little girls but probably a bit young for miss 7.... ;)
:D
