It seems that I may just have to cave in and get one of these - now I need to know which is the best pizza base to make, there are so many recipes to choose from.  What's everyone's favourite?

I think you cooked your pizzas in your oven yesterday, Hally?  What was the oven temp?  My oven is like an old car . . will only go so fast ;D  So I think the bbq might be the best bet for us.  Either that or a new stove/oven :-)) :D

On here: MJ's Passata, and also her Pizza base. The passata is under jams & chutney. Pizza sauce with tomatoes is under main dishes. JD has a white sauce called Pizza with garlic sauce under bread. All lovely.

Not sure Marina I bought mine from there, but from the store, they had plenty on the floor so hopefully wont be long, go and buy your toppings soon and get organised that way then when it comes you can get cooking  :) :)

I put a tray in the fridge with lots of containers on it.  I grilled Eggplant, zucchini  and capsicums,  made garlic oil,  olives  and lots of other interesting bit and pieces.  When making the pizzas asked every one to choose their toppings.   Next time for the children,  I would do 1/2 toppings on the one pizza.  Also most adults wanted similar,  so would make ones to share, and be cooking the next one while family/ guests were eating.  This may sound strange,  but have used sweet chilli sauce as a base.  ( This was a mistake ).   No one seemed to notice.
