Knowing the problem is half the battle Chookie, hopefully onwards and upwards now albeit it slowly.  I can imagine how wonderful it would have been to bump into Marina this morning. A hug and some comforting words is what we need sometimes.  Take care dear friends.

Bess, it's so good that finally they have got to the heart of the problem.  Let's hope it's upwards from here!!!!!  You will both be so happy to be finally home next week as Ral can rest much better there than in hospital.  Thinking of you both!!!  xxx

That IS good news, Chookie!  It's so good to have a diagnosis at long last - you both (and the rest of your family!) must be so relieved at this point!!  Roll on next week and loads of relaxation at home!!  Been thinking heaps about you and fingers kept crossed!! :D

I'm so pleased Ral has a diagnosis Chookie. He can now be treated and proceed on the road to recovery. Take care and I hope his footy team won. Xx

Thanks again to such a lovely bunch of people.  I think Ral is recovering from the cursing that was flowing towards the umpire at the Grand Final today.  Bumping into Marina at the Market was really something special, and all on Judy,s Birthday.  !!!!

Looks like Ral may come out Wednesday at the earliest.   Looking much better but still very weak.  Has an infection in hand where the drip thing went in.  He is eating small meals and DIL and I took him out for lunch today.  Nothing like a little normality.   He was like a kid at a birthday party. Things are looking up.
Thanks again for the good wishes.
