I just read my copy of the same email Gert.

I bought some Waygu sausages at our local butcher a few weeks ago. They were lovely, they actually tasted of meat. I went back and got some more today to take away.

I found some cubed beef in the freezer and using everthing that I had in my cupboard/fridge decided to make Beef Madras. Not knowing what cut of beef it was I made the first part of the recipe (gravy) in the TM.I then added it to the cubed beef and cooked it in the SC on low for 7-8 hours. In the final hour of cooking I mixed 2Tbsp of cornflour with a little water and added it to the curry to thicken.  It turned out delicious ;D

Curry looks good CC :)

My pantry is full, but its not too bad, I have a lot of items but not many of 1 item. I have been good since I started going through it with the budget. I  now only keep 3 tins of tomatoes & 3 pkts of pasta. As opposed to 10 of each :o  no tins of soup & everything in thete I now use. Its taken a long time to get it like that.

My spices is a different story, I have enough variety and duplicates of many to start a little business. My goal is to sort them out one day. A huge task so I keep putting it off.

Defrost and smell. It will be fine. Waste not.

Think how long Eskimos keep their fish frozen!

Well I knew you would say it was fine ;D

I suppose your still alive and well, thank goodness :)

Even after eating 4 cray fish tails, a whole chicken, various meats  all of which were totally defrosted but still cold then refrozen and defrosted a second time. No nasty  bacteria was formed so we are still as healthy as ever. Living proof that we overthink some things which make us fearful.  I would rather Lin to my and other than take advice from the food police. ;D
