Thanks Goldfish for asking, it did take a while... I did x2 quantity in two batches, using a whole bag of flour, it took most of the evening and I was rolling them in my sleep after. Each roll was around 12-14 gram dough.
Topped with one of: fennel seeds, salt and pepper, poppy seeds, nigella or sesame seeds.
Supposed to be Elizabethan Manchet. The whole Elizabethan evening of music and dance and food and drink raised £1000 for Oxfam disaster fund.
