Thanks Gert I'll remember that next time, and no more light sour cream, to hell with the waist line.
Made a Vienna Loaf this morning and a Chookies Spinach & Sweet Potato Gratin.

I'm sorry your pastry didn't work out Mab - I made a different sour cream pastry from this forum for my pies and it worked really well but I can't for the life of me remember who's recipe it was
For my lime curd tarts, I used the basic shortbread base recipe from KIS and pressed it into silicon cup cake wrappers. I used the citrus curd recipe from FFS and topped it with some whipped cream and half a strawberry.

Thanks - it was Uni's recipe.
I was able to roll it quite thinly and it was a lovely base for the seafood pies I made

My Quirky Jo book arrived over the weekend so I made her Concentrated Chicken Stock to use in Baf's amazing chicken all in one meal. Oh my goodness it was so delicious. I don't normally like cheese or white sauces but this was just incredible, I nearly liked my plate. DH loved it too, so on my favorites list.

Maybe that's the answer pennyp, making your own chicken stock. I've not done that yet. DH keeps stealing the carcasses for the crab pots. I can't complain with mud crabs though.
I'm just not a fan of Baf's chicken.
Today I made Teriyaki chicken for kids lunches, muesli bars, Vegemite and cheese scrolls and berry yoghurt muffins. Pork larb for dinner.

I agree
Tonight I took advantage of the last basil in the garden and made Nico's basil chicken. The flavours were nice, but the texture needs more work. The TC doesn't have a reverse function, and although I used the butterfly it shredded the chicken. I added lots of veggies half way through, but next time I think I'll put the chicken in the basket I served it with noodles instead of rice and the kids really enjoyed it.

I also cook mine with veggies ES. That's a pity that the chicken shredded. It's so tasty though isn't it.

Great cooking everyone, just making soup today and some black sticky rice which I found in the cupboard and put to soak last night.
