I made these for a special morning tea that DD attended. One is the Lemon Shortbread slice from Merry Christmas Too and the other is a Lemon cake with Raspberry icing from Tenina's ebook Desserts.

Cookie, that lemon shortbread slice looks yum. I have resisted buying Teninas new ebook ( I have so many) but the two recipes you have shown me are making it very difficult.

I love it when you can bake lots and send it out to be eaten, after a taste of course. Yes CC. She said the cake with raspberries on it was beautiful, the slice fantastic and the fudge and peanut butter chips she didn't like much but she isn't into very sweet stuff. Apparently some of the co workers loved the fudge and PB chips very much. They are having a Christmassy thing this week so I am trying some Pistachio and Cranberry Fudge. If it works I will post the recipe.

Mmmm That sounds lovely Cookie.

Time is limited so I am sticking to the basics ATM. I have made a wholemeal/rye/seed bread in the SL which has turned out much better than I expected (and for some reason wants to be upside down ???)

Still to come is the ice-cream with strawberry sauce swirl and the spag bol for dinner. Think I will have pop some French champagne (the one from Al) to help things along  ;D
