Nice cooking girls.  Late last night I made Tapioca verrines & Raspberry coulis from afrenchfoodie blog for my breakfasts for a few days.  I needed to cook the sago longer and the coulis needs to be strained but apart from that, a nice quick breakfast now awaits me.

Judy, tasty and handy.
Uni I often make spring rolls.  cook them in the AF.  Do you?
Today made 5 large jars of Apricot Conserve.
At the weekend we visited friends and they had just baked an Armenian Nutmeg Cake.  She had used some Cake Release that I had given her and insisted that we try the cake.  I thought it was quite nice but she was disappointed with the taste.  she gave me the recipe and asked me to play with it and see what I came up with.
The original recipe says 6 to 8 serves,  these would be very large so I cut the ingredients in half. With a little adaption.
Next I thought I would bake it in the dish that I use for Belgium Lemon Tea Cake,  perfect.!
I have just cut it and it is still a little warm but I will post the recipe as I think it is very nice, easy to make in TMX and economical. The nutmeg also reminds me of Xmas. Will post in Cakes.

I bought myself a cheap ice cream maker from K Mart a few weeks ago so decided to try it out today.

I used CP's Blueberry Ice cream recipe and substituted strawberries for the blueberries.  It didn't freeze very well or maybe I didn't leave it long enough but the taste was delicious.

Busy girl Uni.

Margaret, you still have to freeze ice-cream after using an ice-cream maker - later today or tomorrow it will be fine

Uni you have been busy. It looks great.
