Yes cookie, I have made it before. I will serve it with steamed veggies and Ral can have rice also. I'm back on my 5.2 and am going great guns.

I went to an Indian Thermomix class on Tuesday night and so last night I made a Lamb Korma. It was great - and my children ate it even though it had a little touch of chilli powder in it, which is amazing. Very successful. They didn't like the Lassi, but I did. I'm heading off to another cooking class tonight so it's probably cheese on toast for them, because my husband isn't that interested in trying to use the Thermomix :( and won't cook.

It sounds like you really want to get into your TMX cooking spersephone.  Your DH would not be the first nor the last to not want to cook, let alone use the Thermomix.

Thanks Katie I will check it out and bookmark it for future reference. I've ordered Tenina's new Vegetarian book.
I've found it quite easy to find recipes.

Spersephone most of how DH's are like that. After about 8 years mine will sometimes even turn mine off if it is beeping. They have no fear of lethal power tools but won't touch a thermomix. Silly boys.

Yep. Oh well. I justified the cost by reminding him that he never ever assists with cooking. I love cooking, but it's such a thankless, laborious task when my children hate almost everything. This has made it a bit more fun again, and got me revved up about trying things.

My DH often uses our Thermomix. I'm lucky he cooks dinner a couple of nights a week.

Today I made Thermobextas seeded spelt bread, chicken stock concentrate, balsamic reduction and a fruit cake made from sweet potato and erythritol (a sugar substitute without any calories). Richard needs to reduce his blood sugar levels so I've been playing around with erythritol a bit.

I cut the cake whilst warm when Judy was here today, it was nice then but nicer when cold and spread with butter. I've sliced and froze the rest of the cake, so Richard can have it when he gets home from the UK (and so I don't eat it!).

Pity I wasn't there for the bread tasting too Katie, the cake was lovely.  Aren't you glad you cooked it a little longer, talk about a very impatient Katie today guys LOL.  You had to be there to witness it - she desperately wanted the cake to finish cooking so that she could put the bread in.

Lovely cakes and bread, they look very tempting.  The crabapple jelly looks good too, I hope I get some off my trees this year before the birds get in and gobble them all up.
