It's gorgeous Kim. Lucky Mum. I see you are using the new 'Naked Cakes' idea. I think it's great.

Beautiful cake Kim and lucky Mum.

Made a Belgium Lemon Teacake yesterday using stewed apple in place of the lemon butter.  GC thought it would be nice with a crumble topping so might try that next time.

I made some of Tenina's Citrus curd and have followed it with some little cakes with the curd in the centre. A friend turns 70 tomorrow so I'm taking them over.

Very funny Kimmyh  It's a stunning cake.
Cookie, your little cakes sound yummy.
My biscuit barrel is empty again, so I made a batch of choc ripple biscuits. I couldn't get the temp right in my oven, so they're not very ripplely (not sure that's an actual word)
I also found some out of date chocolate covered marzipan in the back of the cupboard. It still tasted fine, so I turned most of it into biscuits to stop myself from eating it all.
I made pea and ham soup for dinner and instead of making bread rooks to go with it, I made bagels. I've never made them before, but I was really chuffed by how well they turned out. I will definitely be making them again.

Not a lot done here but did make two loaves of Spicy Banana Bread yesterday with the help of 5 yr old and half was eaten before they went to bed so that was a hit. Its the second lot I have made for them this week.

It all looks so lovely ES.
DH iced the cupcakes for me this morning! It's his first time so I commended him!
We took the ones in the photo out to a friends place for morning tea, for his birthday and then a couple of others to MIL as it's her birthday too.

I would be chuffed with those bagel too ES, well done.
Clever DH Cookie.
I haven't photographed my food in such a long time.  I made an almost instant Apple pie abd covered the top in heart shaped pastry for my DD's birthday tea, looked a bit special ( we will have cake on Sunday) and a sticky date pudding with caramel sauce..
