Cookie, your tarts look good. Everyone seems to like them. They are one of the few things that I can cook successfully in my rotten overs.
I now roll several little logs of puff pastry and keep them in the freezer. I also make the custard the day before I’m going to make them.
I’m making Greek Moussaka and using the Bol sauce I made yesterday.
The meatballs turned out good but are a bit large for me. I think my GS might like them.

Nice tarts cookie, I can’t believe I’ve never made them. Can you freeze them?

Yesterday I made a Braised Steak & Onion casserole for dinner tomorrow and another  Pastie Slice for the freezer.   Katie the link is for you in case you feel like making it.  My family all like it and it makes a big slice so there are plenty of left overs.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

No cooking today, other than dinner.

Cold so just pumpkin soup for Dinner. This is very naughty but oh so delicious. I made a loaf of bread in the bread machine. I cut the crust off, covered it with home made garlic butter and a few slice of buffalo mozzarella. Into the AF. OMG I could eat all the crusts like this.

I haven’t cooked biscuits for ages , but have just seen a recipe for Tahini chocolate chip biscuits, think I could add a few chocolate chips to my recipe. Bit of a challenge in my rotten oven.

Made the Choc chip Tahini biscuits and added some orange zest as well. Ate one to try with friend who came for morning tea and gave rest away. GD and boy friend called in , said they were delicious .( GD brought me some Garlic Chive seedlings)
I found a couple of jars of coconut oil so looking for recipes. There are 2 types, one has no coconut flavour and one that has no flavour.
Today I might make some coconut biscuits from my blog.
Judy, I wouldn’t freeze the Portuguese Tarts, they are best eaten the day that are baked.

Cookie, looks interesting.
Bought some beautiful Strawberries from Aldi, $2.20 for 250 g. Made 10 small/ medium size jars of Strawberry Conserve. Lovely. Took 3 lots to make it. I taste tested it on Rolled oat and Cashew Pizzellis.

No Judy, I don’t cut the sugar, particularly not in the Strawberry Jam. It needs it to set. It is also a bit tart. Also, it is quite intense in flavour so you need very little.
