Today I made Trudie's tortilla's

and (forum) choc chip orange muffins (the recipe is for orange muffins and you can put sultanas etc in, I do the choc chip option :-)

Sorry no links.
Dinner not tmx, I'd cooked up some sausages that I thought could go on the tortillas (usual in and out with activities evening) but on the radio they were talking about sausage rolls and I got a craving so popped a sausage, tomato sauce, piece of cheese and slices of apple onto 1/2 a sheet of puff pastry and rolled up and baked. YUM!!!! I'm not keen on sausages but these were really yum.

Afternoon, today was some WW roasted butternut squash soup - need heavily adjusting with some double cream and some TMX chicken stock paste.  Have also ground some nutmeg, some Cinnamon and peeled some garlic to keep ready in the fridge.  I'm not sure what tea is yet as the freezer is in the garage and its "persisting" it down here ....  :-\

Have to agree with you on that one Chookie, no-one serves up as many vegies as us home cooks.

Oh yes, totally agree - I get so desperate for a good home-cooked meal with lots of steamed veges when I'm away... That's why I take Thermy as much as possible!! I made the mistake of buying a 'roast dinner' at a food court the other day - yuk yuk yuk!! It was awful :( Greasy and tasteless, and barely cooked potatoes, overcooked peas, yucky gravy...  :P Think I'll stick to the sushi shop next time!

Oh Jo you just made me laugh cause I do the same thing all the time. When will we learn the lesson that we will always be disappointed. I do try to plan my shopping trips as best I can now, to avoid a meal time or know there is somewhere I can get food that I will eat  :-))

Sigh. Makes it hard when the 'big' shops are over an hour and a half drive from home!!  :-))

I have had my new TM31 for 10 days now.  ;D I have even hosted a demo too. It was my first demo and was a lovely experience. Many thanks to you Rachel if you are on this forum and read this. It is a big cooking day for me today with guests and a party tomorrow. I am planning on a lemon tart to take to the party. They say the weather is going to be 85f or 30 which is pretty hot for England  8). Instructions for this tart: http://www.youtube.com/v/0Wgvx7CyHj8?version=3.  and the coffee and walnut cake from FEC UK  P224. Not to mention savoury things and bread and hot .Egg Liqueur (Advocaat) from the TM21 cook book.  Its a new learning curve and I am trying not to think back to my old friend the TM21 which I hope you are enjoying Eloquy. Well I had better get underway. Even the TM31 needs me to help it. :-)) :-))

I have days like that Mandi - even when I do half quantities of a recipe there are leftovers so it is pointless cooking every day when the fridge still has things in it to be eaten. Hope you enjoyed your day off, it generally makes you keen to get stuck into it again.
