made the Seed Bread from Demonstrator Delights into little dinner rolls - yum! They have lots of seeds in them like poppy, pumpkin, sunflower, cumin, coriander, fenugreek, sesame and these are roasted on Varoma. The flavour the seeds give are sensational.

Uni,  i have been looking at a lot of Pizza dough recipes lately.  i noticed that the ratio of yeast to flour/water was more than I use in my bread .  Thought I would try it,  also without any oil.  I gave it one rise and the formed the pizzas and applied the topping.  they went straight into the oven.   They rose with a nice little rounded ridge around the pizzas.  Next time i will spray or brush a little oil around this edge.

Made this meat pie today using the rough puff pastry from meganjane.  It should really be in the oops folder as I added too much water.  DH came in and wanted something and I forgot that I was only making half quantity and put in the full amount of water.  It rolled out nicely after adding a bit more flour.  I am expecting two of my DGD's next week, plus a third one for a sleep over at some stage.  I've been trying to get a couple of things in the freezer for a head start.  So far a large lasagne, pizza bases and the pie.  Not sure what else to do yet.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Making Cyndi o'meara's pad thai today.

Yesterday, i made her zucchini slice but didn't have onions. Still tasted good. Trying to eat healthier foods.

It all looks lovely. With everyone asleep I'll come on here instead of cooking. The cake tins are full and so is the freezer. :D

Belated Christmas get together here tonight - salted maple ice cream, ferrero rocher ice cream, apricot sherbet, meringue nest salted praline and fresh mango - that's dessert taken care of as well as the traditional Christmas pudd (can't imagine anyone making that choice as it is hot today).  Isi's rolls are ready, with meat marinating for the barbque - about to make the salads - then ready for a swim!!!!!!  Made pineapple and mint sorbet to cool off at lunch time and it was delicious - excuse the backdrop of teatowels, baking paper and meringue nests!!!
