My poor DS loves the water but hates his face getting wet. He is only just being able to put it in the water for 10 seconds. His new swim teacher has been great and hopefully I will see an improvement.

Hally  :-* :-* :-* I am the same - everyone makes me out to be silly as they think it is so boooooring. I love it, especially when it is hot and like you will knock out 1.5 to 2km. Better than being in a stinking hot gym killing yourself I reckon  :D

A rare quiet day for me today so decided to make some tomato relish and another batch of veg concentrate. Might make some more KFC spice as well as I have been out for weeks now.

I ran out of sliced bread today for brekkie and had no fruit to make my usual protein shake so i thought i'd make milk bread. Needless to say breakfast was late and my stomach certainly let me know of this.

I also made fluffy scrambled eggs in the tmx. Yum!

Just went for a drive to look at a bush/grass fire close to where I live. My DS (5) and I parked on the side of the road to watch a helicopter collecting water in a dam only a about 50 meters from us. Fires this time of year are very scary as everything is so dry. I hope they get it under control quickly.

I managed to get my KFC spices done before we went.

Today made a zucchini loaf for a friend,  to test the recipe.   It is better but still a bit crumbly.  Made a loaf of Sour dough bread and a banana bread loaf.  It was so cold here over night it took until lunchtime to rise for the first time,  and then in a slightly warm oven.

It looks nice Chookie, are you going to give it another go until you're happy with it?

They look lovely Chookie. It reminds me I have a lovely zucchini loaf recipe full of seeds and things and haven't made it for ages.

Dinner tonight is  a stir fry for DD and DH. I went out for coffee and then lunch and a late afternoon with friends and feel like I never want to eat again. Sadly I won't have that feeling tomorrow.

Judy,  i think i am going to have to ask for help with this one.  Will start a separate post.  It tastes delicious but still a bit too crumbly the more it cooled.

I made the veggie concentrate today but it turned out really thick, much thicker than its been before. I guess the water content in some of my veggies were low. I know the zucchini needed using but all the other veggies were nice and fresh. I'm 99% sure I didn't miss any thing.
Has anyone else had this problem before?

Making the speck and salad pizza from dinner spinner.  Seems to hot for this but I am tired of salad and meat.

when we went to Tenina's class she made it with the same amount of turkey (from the deli section of the supermarket). I've made it with that also when I came back home and it was lovely. Haven't tried it with the speck yet. Let us know what you think?
