Just making some dinner rolls to take to a BBQ, was going to make some salads but sounds like there will be more than enough to go around already and I didn't want to go empty handed so whipped up some rolls.

Dede,  you have joined the club for Bread Tragics.  Beautiful loaf.
Maddy how I love Lemon Meringue Pie .   Yours looks great.
Judy ,  missed the photos of your lovely GD.,  been in town for 2 days.

Today,  made the Orange peel and posted recipe,  also a loaf of No Fuss,  cooked in Bread Machine.  As it is Australia Day we are having walnut and Vegemite sandwiches for tea. ;D For pud,  we are having Alyce's Strawberry Yoghurt Sorbet,  only replacing Strawberries with cantaloupe. Made it a couple of nights ago and it is delicious.

I made mayo this morning then this arvo I made pizza dough. For dinner we had pizzas with leftover roast lamb, yum. Also made banoffee pie and julieO's chocolate ice cream. Mmmmmmmmm. I made the ice cream a couple of days ago too and DH asked if it was connossieur ice cream. Kids reckon it's better than that. :)

I made the Chocolate Chip & Zucchini Cupcakes today.  They were a little heavy for me but the grand children think they are great.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

WE're having Chicken and sage tonight with vegies. Leftover sweets.

Frozzie, do you  feed your kids first, the have dinner with dh?

My crown prince wouldnt last  until 8, he needs dinner at 6-6.30, no later or he just constantly asks for food.

H :)

Hi hally

Yes i often feed the kids first as they need to get to bed in order to get up for school but not always for example on a tuesday night as there is no school on wednesdays we eat together

They are ok as they have gouter which is basically afternoon tea t 5 when they get home from school so eating at 8 isnt too bad for them but they still only eat at around 7 on a school night not before

The topic title is very appropriate for me today, as it's exactly what I'm asking myself!  I need to prepare for DD2's second birthday.  We're just having a family day doing the things she most likes to do, and eating foods she'll enjoy.

Pizza is a no brainer.  Maybe the avocado milkshake I read about on here yesterday?  And a messy, dairy free chocolate cake.

That just leaves 2 other meals to think about so I can prep them today!  I don't want to spend the day in the kitchen tomorrow ...

Think... Think ...
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

CarolineW -Many happy returns for Miss2 - it sounds as if you have the perfect day planned for her! don't worry - the other meals will fall into place   :)

Today at various times . . . we made banana smoothies, broccoli  salad, brandy mustard chicken from the Gluten Free Wheat Free Book (this is really nice), carrot and orange juice , tuna dip from the EDC (but with tinned salmon) to go with bread rolls from yesterday,  2 litres yoghurt

Not good JD. They have found some cancer on his lungs and also through his body. He is been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital on Tuesday for more tests and may even operate if necessary. By the sounds of it they can't find the primary cancer.

Oh poor dg... Hope they find it and do all tht is necessary... Thinking Of you all... Hang in there... Im just catching up on messages so just saw this now... Xx
