Yes Unis right, makes me happy. I do give some away. We have elderly neighbours, they love my food & my visits. I had the grand tour of their crystal collection, some of it was beautiful.

Wont get much done this weekend as we are busy.

I'm really missing cooking in Termite. We've been having fish and grills. I'll really be hanging out by the time we go home.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Today I've been cultivating sneezes. I made a double batch of the KFC seasoning and all the pepper and spices had me sneezing.
I also made up a batch of gluten free flour as I have finally used up all  of the commercial one I had in my cupboard before I bought my TC.  This made me sneeze too.
A friend gave me a recipe on the weekend and said that he used it to make pancakes that his kids would  actually eat. This means that it must be good. I bought most of the ingredients in the city yesterday and just had a few more ingredients from the supermarket this morning.  I'd forgotten to buy the powdered milk, so I had to go back to the supermarket for a second time just to buy it. Problem is, I had to buy 1kg and only used 200g. Any ideas what I should do with the rest? I hate the texture of it. It's like scraping your fingernails down a Blackboard.  Ick!

I often use powdered milk in my baking - cakes, scones etc.  I also use it in porridge on mornings we are out of ordinary milk, I find if it is used in something cooked its fine

Thanks Obbie.

Yes very excited we have a new boy tomorrow for lunch, then eb for the long weekend.

Thanks Amy. 4-5 days most weeks I have kids here, minimum 2, can be as many as 5, they certainly get through the cakes & bscuits.

I rarely cook much at weekends, spend most of sat morning at the gym exercising & ds has tennis & swimming lessons, then we all like to have family time, so I might do a roast or we eat out of the freezer.

Yes cooking makes me happy, I also get happiness from giving to people. :)

No daycare ;D i think parents think I do. I love having ds friends here, we designed & built our house so kids  would want to come here. I want to know where ds  is, who his friends are & what they are doing etc  We hope that this will carry on through the teenage years. Happy to have them here, does get tiring from time to time.

We are  registered foster carers, we used to have a child permanetly, now we do respite.
