I do Amy as that's all the milk we ever have. DH loves his vanilla slices. He works hard so I think he deserves it :D

away on hols.  No TMX, ( big mistake ), very limited stuff in cabin.  No oven.  Had visitors for dinner tonight ,  so made risotto in the microwave with onion, mushrooms and corn.  They said it was delicious.  they must have been starving.

It is nice to see and hear the great food people are cooking.

You obviously didn't think it was that good chookie  :D  Mind you, you are probably like most of us cooks, very critical of your own food.  You can make up for it once you get back home - you must be having breadmaking withdrawals by now  ;)

Oh, vanilla slice! I was going to make that on Tuesday morning for morning tea for my cousin whose visiting. Stupid oven.

jakodal    you can use those "lattice bicuits"  for base and top for the vanilla slice   no oven needed
