It is very good. I've made MJ's sister's tuna slice many times. It's on her blog.

Made some pies earlier for lunch, just made a 'sausagemeat slice' (in TM) from one of the recipe books mum brought over with her (not a TM book.) Was nice too, tho miss 5 wasn't overly impressed -typical, I made it with the idea of putting it in her lunch box
. Miss 18mths has eaten 2 pieces and still going!

I did a lot of cooking this weekend, but was too tired to post yesterday. I made a mouse like chocolate pudding which I converted, but it needs a little more tweaking before I can post it for you. It didn't set, so i added more gelatine, but it didn't mix in properly and it tasted too grainy.
I went halves in 10 kg of green tomatoes and 5 kg of capsicum yesterday with a friend, and we spent the afternoon ( and evening) making chutneys and sauces. We still have half of the tomatoes left in the box. It seemed like a good idea at the time. We made Jamie Oliver's Cheeky Chilli Pepper Chutney
http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/other-recipes/cheeky-chilli-pepper-chutney
. I used the last of the balsamIc vinegar I had in the cupboard for a long time. It was really concentrated, so we decided to add extra roasted capsicum to counteract the vinegar. A taste last night had us worried that we had made it too hot, but I tried some for lunch today, and it was fine.
We also made a green tomato chutney from Andie's blog.
http://www.asenjigalblogs.com/resurrected-recipes-from-long-ago/green-tomato-chutney-spicy-and-sweet/
. We haven't tasted this yet, but it looks pretty good.
Then we made Green Tomato Ketchup
http://southernfood.about.com/od/greentomatoes/r/bl30322v.htm
, but we had to Tweak this quite a bit. We added more honey, some cloves and a few other things, so hopefully it will be fine.
We also made a double batch of the capsicum jam from Narelle
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2044.0
this is really sticky but yummy.
I then converted a recipe for a green tomato cake with great trepidation . We ate some today and it is delicious. It tastes like an apple tea cake - you would never know it had tomatoes in it. It was really crumbly to cut, so next time I will make it into cupcakes. I'll post this recipe soon..

I don't have any spare jars left. I had to raid some of DH's empty whiskey bottles for the sauce. At least, he said they were emptye

You have been busy ES. You must feel very proud of your jars all full.

Cooked nothing today, but hope to make the tomato, apple and celery coup from chookie tomorrow and a stew for dinner.
Plus my adapted Isi's Taiwan bread with added ground oats and seeds, plus whole seeds too.
Plus yogurt, maybe. Depends how my list of must do other jobs goes......... Trying to dry the washing is a nightmare. No room for tumble dryer in this house.
