Made some soup for dinner tonight. Sweet potato & chickpea. Can't work out how to add a photo direct from my iPad in that topic until JD does her thing I think, so here's a pic in the meantime

I am going to try a wholemeal loaf of chookie's no fuss bread using halex's method. My bread attempts so far have been so-so. I think it's largely due to the fact that I have the world's most pathetic oven. I will keep on trying though!

Consumerate I have made this bread using 50/50 wholemeal and plain flour. I t cam out quite well using Hally's method. I've also made a loaf this way with a 50/25/25 mix of plain flour, wholemeal and rye flour.  That one worked well too.

Thanks Dastardly Den and Halex. I've gone with 100% wholemeal (because that was the only bakers flour I had to hand). Will report back when it's cooked. Currently having its first rest.

2 batches of Bron's Steamed Garlic Rice and cooked a bunch of chopped spinach in the varoma during the second lot of rice.

From these 2 ingredients I made 2 dozen mini spinach & rice quiches, 1 dozen spinach & rice mini loaves and a large family sized quiche.  2 x 3 cup packs of garlic rice in the freezer.
