Can you tell us how thermofun does it then please Brumington.  A lot of us are not on Facebook.

She doesn't do anything different really to the EDC method but just makes it so much clearer. Like she said, the EDC seems very 'wordy'. So for the first cool down she says to put the bowl in the fridge for 40 mins and if the 37 degree mark is still lit when it goes back onto the base that it's too hot - you must wait for that light to go out. This is where I used to get frustrated and I used to feel like I spent ages to make it. I just set a timer and measured the temp after 40 mins then in 5 min increments. I think mine took an hour in total. She also said not to worry about it going below 37 degrees and just to warm it up to 37 again and the turn it off and wait for the light to go off. This makes the whole thing less time consuming for me!

The most important changes she made though...

She used 1L of milk
On both heating processes she used speed 3 to avoid the burnt milk at the bottom of the jug.
After the starter yogurt is added and you are doing the ten minute warm through she warms her thermoserver with boiling water from the kettle.
She wraps it in a thick towel and leaves over night.

It really is easy and avoids that constant 'checking the temperature' situation that used to frustrate me!

Cauliflower soup.
Roast pumpkin dip with tahini and goats cheese.
Then added walnuts to left over dip and made Brik parcels,                                                                                                   Stewed Apples and stewed Quinces,  going to use the cores and skins to make apple and quince jelly.
Corned beef.
Love the photos of all the delish food.

Another Farmers Market swap today.  haven't had time to take photo.

More bread today and pizza bases and toppings.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
