Katie, you have one very thoughtful and adventurous DH!!!  You were in the kitchen together . .. and that's what counts!! I've never eaten rabbit and i doubt i ever will to be honest!! (but still watch again and again the River Cottage winter episode..chillies and pumpkins and getting rabbits into restaurants via Indian 'curry houses' etc)

Good luck!! Hope it turns out really well and that you both (and Judy!!!) enjoy it!! Who knows? It might even become a "family favourite"...;) ;D ;D

Studied 4 different cookbooks for a Nyonya Chicken Curry. We love curries, and I want to try a new one for a change.

Love Rabbit,  cooked any way.  Hope you both enjoy it.
Had some fun today and made Swedish Crisp bread.  Think it would be great with dips.  Unexpected visitors for dinner so chicken leg casserole with yoghurt sauce.  Will post photo.

BZB,  very Crisp.  Like Finnish Rye biscuits.  Easy to make,  makes 12 .  They have a mix of salt, linseed and cumin seeds rolled into the dough.  Not over powering,   Just tasty.  I ground the seeds and salt in TMX ,  and kneaded the dough in the TMX.  Will post recipe when I have a moment as I will certainly be making it again.

Interesting Chookie.  I know what you mean Gretchen.  I saw something called 'bread bark' once at a ridiculous price and it turns out Chookie had a recipe on here for something that to me was just the same so I just make that now - savoury flat breads.

These are made with Wholemeal Rye flour and wholemeal Spelt.  Very easy and will apparently keep for months in an air tight container.  Traditionally served with cheese,  cucumber and a bit of pepper.  I think they would be great with dips.  I didn't have wholemeal Rye so used Rye flakes and rye flour.   You can buy Wholemeal Spelt at Woolies.  Also needs cultured buttermilk,  but could use 1/2 yoghurt and 1/2 milk.
I have been thinking of making these for some time,  but these were in the new Green Kitchen book that I bought and the recipe looked suitable to adapt to TMX. 
Will post recipe tomorrow as we are having visitors for dinner tonight.  Better get going.  :D

I've been experimenting with some of the recipes from Quirky Jo's blog.
Made the brown rice and rolled oat pancakes, as well as the coconut caramel custard. Both a huge success here :)

Today I made Uni's condensed milk, jelly slice and stacelee's pizza oven tortillas.

My jelly slice is really high. I used all the condensed milk. Does anyone know if Uni's condensed milk recipe makes the equivalent to a 400g can or more?

I made Chookie's walnut and fruit loaf, raspberry cordial , another apple pie/ crumble thing, custard to go with it, and some garlic paste.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Lots of great cooking everyone. The Jamie's rabbit sounds good Katie, I hope that you enjoy it.

Today I made some bread rolls, short crust pastry and the filling for a lentil pie I will make tomorrow,  almond pastry for an apple and rhubarb pie that I made tonight, Beef Dianne and I now have some veggie soup on for lunches this week.

Had friends stay all weekend, so lots of cooking.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Love the look of that crisp bread. I've had a day of making the basics. Started off making some beef stock concentrate (tick of yum) then some of Tenina's caramelised garlic paste. Also made successful choux buns (thank you to everyone who pointed me in the direction of Cream Puffs recipe and obviously to Cream Puff who posted it in the first place!). Finally some vanilla ice cream from the recipe community which is beautiful.
Trying to find a simple recipe for gravy made in the TMX. Can anyone suggest their favourite? I love the sort of taste you get from Bisto and we use much more beef gravy than chicken but do like both. Would be great to hear of any amazing ones.
