My friend who has the big veggie patch gave me a big bag of broad beans so I have just finished blanching those and about to bag them for the freezer.  I hope to make biscuits or a slice later.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I have never tasted a home-made mini meat pies Michelle, I bet they are really nice.  I never touch packet pies or sausage rolls at parties, don't mind the pasties though.

I wouldn't either. That's the good thing about home cooking. Beef stock and shortcrust pastry made in the TMX. The puff pastry for the tops is store bought. No artificial nasties.  :)

Michele,  love the look of those pies,  and love to see what everyone is cooking.
Today made a sour dough loaf,  having trouble posting photo. Roast Chicken for Dinner with trimmings and lots left over for salads for the next few warm days. Made Monkeyboysmum's awesome cheese sauce. Love that recipe. Going to roast some peaches to have for dessert with Ice cream.

Today I cooked a duck in the slow cooker for 7 hours. I strained the stock, and removed all the meat from the bones. I will take any fat from the stock after being in the fridge overnight then will make duck and mushroom risotto tomorrow.

There will be enough duck to make a nice Thai curry or a Vietnamese Pho as well
