Tried to do an Astarra this morning...but didn't quite happen :D

Made pizza scrolls. Whilst dough was proofing, made 2 marinades for future chicken meals - peri peri and paper-wrapped chicken. Didn't even reach the chicken itself, and the dough was ready. Made 23 scrolls. Whilst it was in the oven, made Nigella's choc chip muffins.

And now it's time to pick up the kids from school. Haven't even started cleaning chicken, or prep tonight's dinner. Eeks!

How do you guys do it??

:)

I have a couple of Helene spatulas and think I may have to order more. They don't seem to break.

Astarra isd superwoman in disguise BZB.

I've made the beginnings of rhubarb curd, A slice from Amanda's blog and some curried almonds. Will post photos as they cool.

Everyone has been busy. I haven't baked much lately, but today I made bread, Dede's choc chip cookies with no egg, and MJ,s passion fruit slice. I'm not sure that the biscuits will make it to the party on the weekend as DH keeps knocking them. Haven't cut the slice yet, but I'm sure it will be delicious as I couldn't stop licking out the bowl.......

ES and Astarra you exhaust me. This is the Walnut and Date slice I made from Amanda's blog. It is very nice. I used molasses sugar in it instead of plain brown sugar. It is ever so easy to make.
