Fabulous cooking everyone.

I finished making the vanilla slices from the pastry class yesterday.  Mine look very rustic compared with the ones at the class but GC's ate them with lots of finger licking and ooohhh these are yum nanna.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Yummy for the Vanilla slice.
Have a new recipe about to post, Kefir( or yoghurt) Bircher Museli. I have added Chia seeds for an Omega 3 kick.

Yesterday I made the Strawberry Liqueur Jam - very tasty, except I put just a tad too much lemon in it. 

I bottled up the liqueur and had a bit left over for myself so that I could take the occasional sip as I continued on my weekly cook-up - I only managed one wee sip before I noticed a fly had landed in the glass.  It began spinning about in a rather amusing way the longer it was in the glass ... in the end I felt sorry for it, but I think it had given up to alcoholic poisoning by that stage - at least it went on its way happy and won't have to worry about the hangover!

Made a batch of Issy's Madalines this morning.  I had forgotten how lovely these little morsels are.  Miss Issy's imput on this Forum - just wish she would come back!!

CC I do love the decoration on the cake. I don't do that as there at least 2 people here who will pick them off.  ;D
Margaret the vanilla slice looks delicious. Does it have jam in as well as custard? Would you share the recipe?   ;D

I made Skinnymixer's Health by chocolate Torte. Out of 6 people, 4 loved it - others found it too rich and too strong in flavour. Well worth trying it folks since it is diary free, no butter, no flour - nothing bad!

I made Health by Chocolate last week ... no complaints.  I put a couple of fresh strawberries with it as I had them on hand.  Simply delicious (mind you, I am a chocaholic!).  ;D

I was trying to copy a zucchini relish recipe I bought when on holidays.  Sadly today's effort is nothing like the one I bought.  I think I'll make another batch from a different recipe and try mixing the two together and see what happens.
