I have made two batches of Amanda's cherry chutney. We had some on Christmas day with ham. Delicious! The cherry liqueur sounds beautiful. Especially in winter.

I always use Triple Sec instead of Cointreau Julie.  Nice to see others making Amanda's cherry recipes.

Thanks Judy, will be making it tomorrow.  :D

The cherry chutney is really lovely.  I did cut down on the ginger and Chinese five spice and I got the perfect taste for us.  I'm looking forward now to using it, maybe tomorrow.  ;D

Cherry chutney sounds delicious!
I've been making lots of smoothies with another appliance I was gifted (a Nutribullet  Pro). So far made 3 smoothies today:
Honeydew melon & cucumber; pineapple, mango, banana, raspberry & spinach; and my favourite: chocolate peanut butter smoothie :)

I followed Amanda's recipe for cherry chutney exactly but added a little salt at the end to taste. Delicious. I can highly recommend it. It is also great on a cheese board.

I'm going to get some cherries and make a couple of Amanda's recipes. Hopefully they are still reasonably priced at Spud Shed.

Made a lamb roast for dinner last night, and am making lamb ragu tonight, based on a 4 Blades recipe.

Revisited a favourite recipe of ours to use up some ham and cheese leftover from Christmas.Swiss Cheese and Ham Pastries.Sadly I didn't make the puff pastry.
Two popped in the freezer, the third to have tomorrow for dinner. :D

I made some nice and fluffy Burgers. Also did the mousse au chocolate from the TM5 guided cooking chip. The dark mousse was great but the variation I tried with white chocolate didn't work as expected, it looked like vanilla sauce   :o
Maybe I will find a better recipe in our forum here??
Achtung, Achtung, the amount of sugar is always reduced in my recipes! Double it to make it average ;-)

It's so good to be reminded of some great recipes on here, whether from members or from books.

I really must make Tenina's Cheese & Ham Pastries after reading the reviews, will be great for the freezer.  :)

Those pastries look delicious CC.  Unfortunately I don't have that particular book.

The Kefir Lime Leaf Salt looks interesting Chookie.

I've just podded two large bags of broad beans given to me by a friend.  Now about to make an old fashioned Aberdeen Sausage to have with salad.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
