What do you think is lacking? I liked the look of it but haven't tried it yet. I love the herb and garlic pull apart from the basic cookbook.

Hot days ahead so salads are in order.  Potato/egg/spring onion and coleslaw.  I added 2 tsp condensed milk to some Ranch dressing for the coleslaw as I like a sweeter taste in that salad - it had the desired affect.

I can't really put my finger on it, but I definitely  don't  like it. I think the texture is a bit weird...maybe too much oil in the recipe than i am used to.  It's a bit crumbly too. Never mind plenty more recipes to try.

Today I made crunchy top lemon cake and yoghurt.

SD bread and a slice. The slice is very nice, so I will post the recipe.

Worcestershire sauce, shepherd's pie and a sort of / not quite / pretend pumpkin, lime and coconut risotto using brown rice  - it is not an actual risotto but certainly looked and tasted like one when it was finished.

All very interesting.
The Snow icing was bought from the Essential Ingredient shop.  Love that shop but must not go there.

I mixed up a batch of nuts and bolts first thing this morning, then made a dozen raspberry and white choc chip muffins.  :D

When we came home from BIL's birthday party last night I found my SD had overflowed so at 11.30pm I had to start a loaf of bread.  It's a little dark on top as I was outside in the garden and forgot about it.

Also made another batch of M'Js Tomato Passata today.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
