Yesterday I baked a loaf of bread and in my pressure cooker, I made pea & ham soup with the leftover ham bone I'd frozen at Christmas.  It was delicious.  I took some of the soup over to Mum today.

Today I have lamb meatballs with a curry sauce (loosely based on Skinnymixers bhuna gosht) in the slowcooker.  I've also steamed some rice and green beans.  This will be tomorrow night's dinner.  Tonight DH is cooking beef & stout and soda bread, both from the UK cookbook.  I was reading the book a couple of days ago and he asked to have a look. He decided on both recipes himself.

Last night took out what I thought was chicken breast but was stewed peaches.

LOL, that would have been a shock Chookie - did you do peaches kiev or schnitzel?

ROFL.
LOL Chookie  :D

Richard did a great job with dinner, the beef and stout was lovely. Richard said it was easy to make using the recipe on the chip.

The soda bread was great too. He used the recipe in the UK book, but he didn't use the TMX to make it (he just mixed it up in a bowl).

Judy, I am still recovering from the shock of the peaches , but think I will turn them into dessert of some sort.
Like the sound of the beef and stout recipe. We are having 3 lots of visitors at Invermay over Easter. This would make one lot happy. Family are bringing blow up mattress to sleep on. Could all be hit and miss with new oven.  TMX to the rescue I think.

I have some Almond and Chocolate Biscuits waiting to be cooked. I didn't make them until late and they had to sit in the fridge for 2 hours. It's very humid here so I will bake them later.

Sarah what recipe did you use for your pull apart. ?   Certainly looks great.

Just the one from the Basic cookbook/chip for the TM5, it's also on the recipe community.

Not quite what you expected :)

CC, looks delicious. Love Quiche Lorraine. A real classic.
Visitors for lunch. Cooking roast leg of lamb with garlic, lemon and Rosemary. Roast pot and pumpkin.  New oven is so small I am wondering how it will all fit in.
Made Belgium Lemon tea Cake last night. Oven even, temp spot on and reaches temp in 15 minutes.
Also making a warm salad to go with roast.  New recipe. Garlic, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and silver beet. Only had to buy the Muchrooms. All the rest home grown.

Nice quicheCC.

Lunch sounds good Chookie.  I'm sure the visitors will enjoy it.

I have lamb shanks slowly cooking on the stove top at the moment.  Yesterday I made another pot of Passata.  This will just about be the end of the tomatoes, they have been very prolific ths year.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
