Thanks for the kind comments about the cake girls LOL.

I love your cake Denise, did you mix it in the TM5?
I did part of it in the TM5 Judy.I used the turbo button three times to mix the flour and butter together. I put that aside in a bowl.I then chopped the carrot 3 sec speed 5. I stirred in the sugar and dried fruits into the flour/ butter mixture that I had put aside, then added the carrot.Gave it all a good stir with a spoon before adding the wet ingredients.Mixed it well. Then placed it into a lined 7in cake tin and sprinkled the Demerara sugar over the top.I cooked it in my FF oven 180c for exactly one hour.

I have 2 lots of Rum and raisins soaking overnight. One lot for ice cream and the other for a banana cake. Both recipes posted. Also have an overnight SD wholemeal loaf doing its thing overnight.
Have some chicken thighs defrosting and will make a couple of different meals with them. Perhaps a stroganoff and skewers.

Yesterday I made a SD loaf and a Coconut Slice.

Today I have just put the Christmas pudding on to cook.

It will have a lovely flavour Margaret. Do you do it in cloth or a basin?

I have cooked it in a basin Cookie.  It will go into the freezer later.  I am getting a head start this year as we are going to be away for a couple of weeks in November and I just wanted to be organized.

How lovely. Where are you off to?  We are heading out next week but only for a few days. No more big holidays until we get the new van.

5 days in Echuca first. The family have booked us on a dinner cruise on one of the paddle steamers so we thought we would have a few days extra and have a look around.  It's been years since we were last there.  After that we will head off to Narooma for our usual holiday up there.

Managed to burn the bottom of SD loaf. Not bad but will make it difficult to cut. Fortunately the Banana   Rum and raisin cake was OK. The Rum and Raisin Ice cream Delish.
