Thankyou Chookie. I have a Laucke German grain mix. Would I be able to make that into rolls and bake in the airfryer?
Yes.  Should be good.  Will be a little heavier than the white.
Will make Lemon Butter today for GD.  Trying to maintain year 12 study program with all the uncertainty.

I put together a couple of jars of dill pickles today. They use the baby cucumbers called cukes. I will see how they go and if they are nice I will share.

Sounds interesting Cookie.  I have spent the day playing , with food of course.  Made yoghurt from an out of date packet.  Made the Kefir that didn’t work but have used some to inoculate 2 new lots.  Made more coconut biscuits and NY Nay scones.

10 pm tonight I decided to make some oat waffles for a few breakfasts, the lighter one is plain but I added some of my sugar free chia strawberry jam to the others.
Earlier in the day I steamed carrots, beans, pumpkin and cauliflower and covered them in a light cheese sauce - 6 serves.

Looks good Judy. Are these all part of your new diet?
The failed Kefir is like Buttermilk so will marinate some chicken in it today.  Will add some herbs.
GD has ordered some Choc Chip biscuits.
Neighbour sent over some lovely biscuits, plain and Ginger. They are her MIL recipe. MIL is 98.

Yes Chookie, before I see the dietician I’m trying my best to do diabetic friendly recipes (and hope I’m getting it right).  There are plenty of recipes online plus I have the Annette Sym cookbooks which are endorsed by Diabetes Australia. This is the waffle recipe https://www.diabetesaustralia.com.au/recipes/12934
I have a half hour appointment with my GP tomorrow afternoon, when we will be putting plans and specialist appointments into action.

I love that pear pudding Chookie. I have never seen or heard of that one before.

No cooking here today. I may give some apple and custard pies a go in a while.

Judy have your list of questions ready. I hope it all goes well for you.

Thanks Chookie & cookie. I’m all ready for the first one with the GP but it’s the dietician I really want to talk to asap.
Love the peekaboo dessert Chookie.

This pear pudding is so easy.  I wanted to make 2.  I steamed 8 pears in the Varoma dish.
I wanted to make this particular recipe and spent 2 hours looking for it on my blog.  Finally found it on the Forum. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=16506.0
Have made potato chips, no oil.
Making Chow Mein and will make a lot so leftovers can be made into Spring Rolls.
RAL has ordered Tahini biscuits.
