I cooked the Artisan SD that had been in the fridge overnight. It looks ok.

Yummo Cookie.
Chicken Parmas, GS ate 2, loved them. I used medium strength taco sauce from Aldi instead of tomato. He said it was good. I ate 1 thigh, it was good. I added some KFC seasoning to the egg and flour . Also added to the flavour.
GS has ordered ahead for next Monday, Pizza.
We do lots of talking while eating. I think he tries out ideas on me. Nice.
DD is without an arm for 6 weeks. I’m sure this will drive her mad. I’m making Cream of Celery soup, Minestrone and Spag Bol. To get her through the next 2 days.
My new Breville waffle machine is excellent. Make a double mix in TMX and tip it from the jug on to the plates. I’ve adapted a Jamie Oliver recipe.

I was given a large bag of silverbeet at the weekend so used some to make some spinach & vegetable filo rolls.

Chookie what has happened to your DD’s arm. I hope it’s not too serious.
No cooking here today.

Cookie, she pulled the bone out of the socket and tore 2 muscles. She has repaired the muscles with exercises but needed surgery to replace the bone. She has booked a trip to Tibet, to white water paddle, next year . As the Surgeon pointed out , it would be dangerous with out 2 strong arms.
Mab, I like the look of those rolls. We’re they nice?

Good luck to DD in her recovery Chookie. I admire her for what she does as a hobby and she certainly needs to be completely fit to do that.

Aldi has Lobster tails on special so I’ll pop down and get some. Mornay or rolls???
Will make hot plain and cheese scones for workers morning tea. Might make some more almond crackle biscuits while I have the oven on,

I hadn’t noticed Chookie, most of them clocked up in the early days of us finding this site when it was one of the very few around.

Chookie, they are very nice and something that all the family will eat. They are based on Spinach & Ricotta rolls but I add other veg and anything else I feel like.

I’ve managed to make a Classic loaf. We were out. I slept until after midday. Very unusual for me.
