Today was Pizza scrolls, Ham and pineapple scrolls, Sausage rolls and egg and bacon pie. Yesterday I tried a fruit loaf but it just wouldn't rise, Not sure what I did wrong. Another failure for the chooks. (Good thing they are not fussy lol)
We are off to my DS's Grand final this afternoon, I hope they win more so for my DS's friend who's wants to win for his father who is in hospital and only has a short time to live. I feel so sorry for him. Would be so hard to loose a parent when still so young (or at any age really)

Good luck South Launceston under 16s.

Sadly they lost, I felt so sorry for them. But I guess someone has to loose.

And Faffa I don't think I did but anything is possible lol. I will try again and see how I go.

dede,  I find fruit breads often need double yeast and are slower rising. Made a pipe loaf today ,  just for a change and more flat rolls yesterday.  Maddy and Hally,  I squint when I look at your photos,  hoping that the calories wont jump out at me. OMG, they are beautiful.

Sadly my DS's friends father passed away last night. I am very proud of my DS and the way he is showing support for his friend and spending time with him. He is going to the funeral on Friday to support his friend. Big thing for a 15 year old to deal with seeing his best mate so sad.
