Well done to your DS6, Kimmy. He has done an amazing job.  :-*

We just fried chicken fillets with smoked paprika and pizza herbs on them, then sliced into strips and had in wraps with salad vegies, mayo and grated cheese. Basic but very enjoyable  :)

Congratulations to your DS Kimmy. We had ham steaks (DH bought a ham yesterday) with roasted Vegies, peas and corn. We were meant to have left over soup but forgot. It will do for lunch tomorrow.

Well done to your son Kimmy, it's nice to have another pair of hands in the kitchen and he may well take on all your pasta making now  ;D

I made some Angel Hair pasta and cooked up some Vegies as a sauce. I put a Umami cube in the sauce and it was lovely.

We had Judy's varoma steamed corned beef tonight with mashed potato, veg and mustard sauce.  It's always a winner.

I read a warning on facebook this week about not setting tm31 speed higher than 2 when using varoma for a long time.  So I cooked the beef at speed 2 and it seemed to be fine. Did anyone else see this warning? Should we alter the original recipe to reflect speed 2?

Yes perhaps it would be wise to change it Kimmy, thanks for that.

Bedlam, they are really good, a really good buy!  I had heaps of dry pasta in my pantry that I gave to my daughter when she was visiting over Easter.  I can safely say I wouldn't use any of it again.  The machine is so quick and easy to use and yes the fresh stuff tastes much better than any of the pre-made stuff.  Yesterday I made a double batch of lasagne sheets that I let extrude long enough to fit my baking dish.  I still haven't tried all the dies yet, but will get around to it in the coming weeks.  ;D

Nothing very exciting tonight, just a meal from the freezer.

Sunday night at Emerald Beach we ate out and had Mexican. Such a beautiful meal. We shared an entrée - the corn chips were made in house - black, yellow and white. For the main we made our own tortilla's. DH had prawn and I had a veggie version. It's the best Mexican I've ever had.

Corned beef, boiled potatoes, white sauce and vegetables, one of the few meals everyone eats
