Why not Judy? Go for it.
I don’t think I will ever buy a pressure cooker, I know they have changed a lot but I always remember Mum’s going up all over the ceiling, and of course being very hot.

I also remember that when I was a child cookie, my Mum was making soup and I tried to open it to get some. Yikes all over me, up the walls and on the ceiling. I know the modern ones are safe but some of the recipes I’ve seen in the Diabetic magazine look nice. I still think I could use a SC or cook on the stove top cookie.

Thanks Michele. What interests me is that they are doing what I want TMX to do. I also have memories similar to Cookie and Judy. But most of all I remember that every thing from Mums Pressure cooker tasted similar. Mum was a very good cook, so I ask myself, was it her or the machine.

Love everyones thoughts. When I bought this, I thought Judy won't be scared. My grandmothers pressure cooker was very scary and exploxed when I was there (food everywhere and I still shiver thinking about it).
Chookie, thought you would love love being able to add your recipes to the machine. They do take up to 4 days to approve them and you wouldn't want to put grandma's secret recipe on the community page as everyone has access to it.
Made a WW recipe tonight using the manual function - Morracan lamb with Honey.

Michele, please continue to report. I like to share my recipes. I think too much commerce has crept into cooking. Also the price difference between a good home cooked meal and what you pay when eating out, astounds me. Don’t get me wrong, l love a special meal out, but to encourage good home cooking is beneficial to all.
I love the forward looking attitude of Tefal. This is enough to tempt me to buy one of their machines.

Did some research into the Tefal pressure cooker. Certainly a good buy for $400 . The big deal is the time it saves. How I wish I had one when I was working. Time is not really an issue for me now. Michele , I think you will really benefit from it.

DS uses an electric pressure cooker often. He likes this website.

I was browsing K-mart this morning and ended up in the book section. Another CSRIO recipe book to add to the other 2 and because Julie posts some lovely MB recipes I thought I’d have this one of hers as well.
