I saw those bread baking 'tins' at the Lakeland stand, but didn't have a close look at them.  One or two wee things from Lakeland managed to find their way into my shopping, but I was very, very good and restrained myself.  They don't have a big presence in the store, but they have a good variety on show, all of it very tempting.

Cookie , I also saw those bread baking things.  Thought they were pretty small and that I would need 3 for one mixture. On the other hand, good for cutting down the carbs.  Would also make good garlic bread rolls.
Marina, where is this shop?

It's in The Good Guys' store in Preston, Chookie.  Be warned, it's not a very big area yet, but, nonetheless, it's a very dangerous part of the shop!!

My local Good Guys also has a Lakeland section. Very tempting.

Ours too Cookie.  The chap told me some time back that if there is something you want but they dont stock it you can order which I thought was good.

I envy you and your Good Guys.  Ballarat Good Guys was taken over by JB hifi.  GG now don’t stock any small kitchen stuff .

At least you have a good kitchen shop in Ballarat, Chookie, so you are lucky with that.  You can always save a visit to GG as a treat when you have time on one of your visits to Melbourne

I will try and pretend I didn't read that!

This is the bread I made in the Varoma with the silicon football thing! The recipe is from thermomixbakingblogger.

Were you happy with your football bread cookie?

Yes I was Judy. It was only a small loaf but was quick to make and tasty as well. We managed to eat most of it with soup for lunch on Sunday. You mixed it and then cooked it. It rose as it was cooking.

I had a bit of a shopping spree today, bought myself another iPad as one of mine has gone crazy since having a non-Apple glass and battery replacement, a mobile phone because the one I had wouldn’t connect to the internet with my new plan which gives me 7 GB data a month and a new phone system for the house now that NBN has been connected. Only being able to have 1 fixed line is a pain after having cordless in other rooms so this new system has 2 phones, both cordless.
Not often I spoil myself but now I find I can’t live without all this technology.

Go for it Judy.  You deserve spoiling.
