:-* :-* Maddy. I know we will use it, especially in the van at Monkey Mia. Someone has to try and keep the economy buoyant. It may as well be all of us.

Congratulations Maddy and Cookie, I can't wait to see what great ideas you both come up with.

I'm going to try sweet potato chips tomorrow but using fresh sweet potato, will see hoe it goes.

We are all in good company here  ;D don't need to justify our purchases. We are cooks, we love to cook, we love appliances.

Have what you want and want what you have.  :D

Well done ladies, I knew there would end up being a few of us giving in to this.  I think it was BZB who got me interested, hadn't given it 2 thoughts before her lovely pictures started appearing.  The Adelaide heatwaves have also played a part.

I'm the same. DH said this morning 'go and buy one if you want it. ' so of course I did. The fact that Harvey Norman's had 15% off RRP helped. I paid $381 so I thought that was ok. I have the bigger one. I have decided to make Fried Feta Triangles for nibbles tonight. It is stinking hot but who cares.

As you can see I have been reading the instructions before I have fully removed it from it's wrappings.

Ok CP your turn now.

So true Maddy. I saw a photo of fish cooked in it with just a few herbs. It looked lovely. I have even cleared the space for it in the cupboard. Although I am tempted to put my other thermal cooker in there (anyone want to buy it?) and keep the air fryer on the bench.

Nice, Cookie. That's the colour I have :) You got a good price!

Tried making CP's blueberries muffins in the Airfryer just now. I could fit in 7-8 muffins....turned out quite funny :D

Baked 5 in my 2nd batch. Much better. Hahaha.

Do I need one of these??? :) :)  I already have an easy cook oven.

Probably not Mab...they basically work the same, & the turbo ovens have more room to cook larger roasts.
As for storage, it's a bigger item, but not as bulky as the turbo oven.

Thanks for that Maddy, I"ll be good and not buy one if they do much the same thing.  DH will thank you as well if I am not spending more money :D :D

Nice looking muffins BZB

BZB those muffins look great.  I'm loving that more people have bought them. I tried bacon in it today -  6 mins at 200 and it was great, I like mine crispy and a little more well cooked. It was great that the fat drains to the bottom and there was really not much remaining fat on the paper towel that I sat it on after taking out of the fryer.

BZB....great job!  Their shape was because of the fan ( I don't use fan force in regular oven for cake/ cupcake baking)....but that doesn't matter, its the taste that counts  ;)
I had a recorded demo from tvsn, & she said frozen garlic bread is done in 4 mins.  :o. She had it cut  in 1/2 & without foil on.
