Choosiest, do you run classes? I'm on the lookout for some in Melbourne, I know your a bit further away but it would be great to get some of your bread as well as TMX wisdom.

Wonder,  I don't see why I couldn't have a class for just Forum members.  Would have to be after the hot weather.  Will let members know details.

Chookie, that would be fantastic. I'm also happy to provide a venue in Melbourne northern suburbs if people are interested and it suits you and others.

Thanks Wonder,  but I like to do it at home as it takes a week of prep and organisation.

If there are any forum members at that cooking class Chookie, maybe they might like to identify themselves as well.  Great photo of a happy group of bread makers.

Judy, at that time there were none.  Not sure about now,  except for Alyce.

No worries Chookie. Have you advertised your classes in the past or have they just been word and friends etc?

Wonder, the 2 TMX classes were organized by my Consultant,  Anita. The first one without the TMX was for friends,  and the second one was to raise money for Cancer Research.  I only charge for the cost of the ingredients,  usually $20/30, The class take home what they make and we have Morning tea,  Lunch and Afternoon Tea.  We usually make 3/4 different types of bread.  All food is TMX.  The class starts at 10.00am and finishes about 3/4.00 pm.

Chookie the classes sounds great!  I wish I lived closer to you

Both of my patients (my partner and our dog) have now had their respective surgery and are home resting.  I don't want to visit a hospital, doctors or vets again for quite awhile!

Tonight I'm making my first recipe from this book - bolognaise vegetable bake and hopefully (if I have time) the individual passionfruit custards.  I will post a review once made and tasted :)

I was up until 1.15 am this morning reading this recipe book and making a list of the things I would make from it. My list has 64 items on it and even though some of them are similar to what we can find here on the forum, because there are lovely pictures for every recipe, it just makes you want to try Alycy's version.  It is a beautifully put together book and one she should be and is rightfully very proud of.  I have no hesitation of recommending people put this on their list of 'wants'.  So many easy recipes but with a handful of restaurant quality recipes thrown in but not too many of them to make the book unsuitable for the everyday cook. I have been shopping this morning and bought lamb fillets and pork spareribs for a couple of the recipes so that when I am ready to try some of these recipes I know I have the main ingredient for a couple of dishes. Thumbs up from me.

I've ordered mine and can hardly wait until it gets here : )  I hope it doesn't take too long to get all the way to Canada.  Maybe I should havew just taken a little holiday and come and picked one up.  I know my Husband has cousins in AU somewhere but no idea where.  They would be easy to find, right?  LOL
